This page records public-guide changes and their applicable baseline. “Updated” is the last content-maintenance date for the bilingual page pair. Website deployment and binary delivery dates are confirmed separately.
2026-10-16 · Hardware 1.0.0 / r27 / ABI 8
Paired with App SDK 1.0.0 and retaining r26 PROFILE39 recovery. External transports now explicitly reject reuse of the detached connection ID, isolating late data and close events from the new connection. Every attempt uses fresh TLS and a new connection generation; ABI 8 and wire fields remain unchanged.
Packages carry consistent versions, source commits, build metadata and checksums. Both public P4 and Managed examples check the 1.x / r27 / ABI 8 baseline. Replace matching headers and archives together. Device and production acceptance are recorded separately; see testing and release.

Recovery covers unexpected primary TCP EOF/IO while a delegated mirror lease remains valid. A fresh TLS connection validates the current owner and this mirror grant. The original mirror session survives; capabilities, vehicle subscriptions and snapshots are read again. Old pending vehicle commands and STREAM_START are not replayed.
Both the APP SDK build and hardware firmware must support recovery. The terminal declares PROFILE39 only when mirror_control and pairing_pin are configured. The APP skips this recovery for older terminals without that declaration. Reconnecting does not extend the mirror lease; explicit stop, revocation, a whole-network generation change and lease expiry still clean up the session.
The SDK network runtime wires recovery for Core / Managed. External transport integrations explicitly call moto_resume_mirror(); see Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Device acceptance should cover “start mirroring → switch to another app → return → controls and vehicle state recover”, plus failed recovery, stop, network loss and revocation.
2026-10-15 · r25 road-vector baseline
r25 provides Core RVP1/RVZ1 road windows, map-revision matching and commit acknowledgement. Phone regional archives and terminal windows have distinct formats, memory budgets and lifecycles; see offline maps.
Per-revision changes for revisions 13–25, ABI 7 → 8 migration and rollback conditions remain in versions and migration.
